We recommend using version 1.5 of GtkRadiant.
Version 1.4 is too old and version 1.6 is still in beta state.

We also recommend to use NetRadiant, a fork of the 1.5 branch of GtkRadiant, which is actively maintained by an open-source community.

We have here some basic instructions on how to install GtkRadiant/NetRadiant and get it set up to create and edit Neverball and Neverputt levels. Currently, we have instructions for the following Operating Systems:

Ok, if you are here, then most likely you want to create your own levels.
That's a good thing. It's not a difficult process, and this howto will make it even easier.

Requirements

	* Neverball (yes, this really is needed ;-))
	* GtkRadiant, the level design tool. Recommended version: 1.5

Here is a list of the current unofficial level sets for Neverball and Neverputt.
Visit their corresponding forum thread to report any feedback.

Just copy the zip archives into your user data directory, and that's it!
The new level set (or course) will then appear into the set selection screen of Neverball (or Neverputt).

* “Are there plans for a multi-player mode?”

We do not intend to do such a game mode yet, as it causes some incoherence problems: 2 players controlling the same floor ?

	* “I would like to create my own maps, how do I do it?”

Have a look at the level creation page of this wiki, you should start with the Level creation HowTo.
